Liverpool and Arsenal go head-to-head for matchday 30 of the Premier League with both teams wanting victory for different reasons. Liverpool need a win to keep their hopes of a Champions League place alive. On the other hand Arsenal are at the top of the table and need one more win to move even closer to the title
Liverpool
One of their last hopes to maintain their chances of finding themselves in the places leading to the Champions League will be what Liverpool will try to claim against Arsenal. The "reds" have accumulated 43 points and only want a win as they may find themselves lower than the eighth place they are now. The mood in the Liverpool camp is not at its best, however, a win will provide momentum for the final stretch of the season.
Arsenal
Arsenal wants to achieve its third consecutive victory and take another important step towards winning the championship. Miguel Arteta's side are in excellent form and have scored eight goals in their last two Premier League matches and will be looking to come away with the three points from a difficult away venue regardless of Liverpool's form this season.
