The top competition in Europe is about to begin, the 32 "fighters" are ready to enter the "battle" and in this year's Champions League group analysis you will find the teams that make up the eight groups. Find out about the favorites for the top spot in each group, the teams who have the possibility to go "the step up" and grab one of the tickets to the knockout stage, the underdogs who will try to pull off a surprise and of course find out about the teams that are considered the most dominant to reach the top of the competition.
GROUP A
Bayern Munich
Manchester United
Copenhagen
Galatasaray
The first group is quite ambiguous. The favorite to win the first place is Bayern Munich who acquired Harry Kane this season from Tottenham. For the second place, Manchester United is theoretically the team that can have the first say, however the unstable image and the strengthening of Galatasaray leave room open. Copenhagen is the outsider of the group.
GROUP B
Seville
Arsenal
Eindhoven
Lance
The second group is one of the less glamorous in this year's Champions League. Sevilla and Arsenal are the favorites to qualify for the next round, as the Sevillians have the experience and can make the "step up" in the competition, while Arsenal return to the groups and look like they can do it as first. Eindhoven and Lance will likely compete for third place which leads to the Europa League.
GROUP C
Naples
Real Madrid
Braga
Berlin Union
Another group where there are two favorites and two outsiders for qualification to the next phase of the Champions League. Napoli and Real Madrid are the two teams who against Braga and Union Berlin are the favorites to be in the round of 16 of the Champions League. Braga and Union Berlin are the two teams where they will try to make a surprise, however their realistic goal is the third place which will lead to the Europa League.
GROUP D'
Benfica
Inter
Salzburg
Society
Benfica and Inter are also in this group the two teams that stand out. Both Benfica and Inter, have the quality to achieve their first goal, while on the other hand, Salzburg and Sociedad are expected to make their own effort but their first goal is to finish third.
GROUP E
Feyenoord
Atletico MADRID
Lazio
Celtic
A very ambiguous group with Atlético Madrid theoretically showing how it will be the one team to get the one ticket, on the other hand Feyenoord, Lazio and Celtic are expected to compete for the second ticket which will give the qualification to the next phase of Champions League. However, conditions appear to exist which will create an ambiguous group.
GROUP S'
Paris Saint Germain
Dortmund
Milan
Newcastle
The group of "death" as characterized by the football world has just become known. Paris Saint-Germain, Dortmund, AC Milan and Newcastle can all find themselves in the next round. Paris Saint Germain is not in the situation it was in the past years, it has lost several of its stars like Messi, Neymar, Sergio Ramos, however, it has important and experienced players. Dortmund are Germany's runners-up and always a force to be reckoned with, Milan have the players and history to qualify, while Newcastle have been on a steady rise in recent years and have the glamor of the Premier League.
GROUP G'
Manchester City
Leipzig
Red Star
Young Boys
There are two big favorites in this group. Understandably, City, who are the team that holds the title, as well as Leipzig, who are in the Bundesliga, have the first say in qualifying for the next stage. Red Star and Young Boys are the outsiders and their goal is to begin with the third place which will allow them to continue in Europe.
GROUP H
Barcelona
Porto
Shakhtar Donetsk
Antwerp
In this group, Barcelona and Porto are the favourites. The Catalans have the quality roster and are the favorite for the first place, while for the second place in the group, the favorite is Porto. For the third place, it is quite possible that Shakhtar Donetsk and Antwerp will compete, with the Ukrainians having lost the momentum they had in the previous decade due to the war.
THE FAVORITES FOR THE CONQUEST
Manchester City
Bayern Munich
Real Madrid
Arsenal
Barcelona
Paris Saint Germain
Manchester United
Atletico MADRID
